If your touchpad has stopped working, there are a few things you can check to make sure the touchpad is enabled:
First, please check the touchpad is turned on, via your function keys.
If this doesn't work then please open the settings application and navigate to Devices > Touchpad and check the touchpad is switched on. The following screenshot shows what this should look like. (You can open settings by using a mouse plugged into your device, or Windows key + I).
