Your GeoPen requires 1 x AAAA battery to work. You may need to replace this battery as it runs out over time. To replace the GeoPen battery follow these steps: |
| 1. Twist the top end of the GeoPen, as shown in the image below, to unscrew the top of the GeoPen. |

| 2. Tilt the GeoPen so that the existing battery can fall out |
| 3. Insert your replacement battery. Make sure the 'Positive (+)' end of the battery is inserted first |
| 4. Replace the end of the GeoPen by screwing the top back into place. You may need to gently press down as you twist the end back into place |
